The Night Shift Sanitation Specialist is tasked with ensuring top-tier quality control, adherence to sanitation protocols, and meticulous documentation of product processes within the facility. This role involves implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee the proper storage of products designated for transport, as well as preparing pallet orders and providing assistance as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work environments. This position requires the ability to bend, lift, and pull weights up to 75 lbs.
  • Adhere to quality inspection protocols and eliminate food items that do not meet established quality criteria.
  • Comply with company safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining accurate records as required.
  • Prepare and operate sanitation carts for the cleaning and sanitization of equipment.
  • Conduct basic housekeeping tasks, including cleaning floors and external surfaces of all machinery, and restocking sanitation supplies for employees.
  • Clean plant drainage systems in accordance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), which includes fluid processing machine drains. Prepare and use mobile foamers to sanitize work areas following SSOPs. Maneuver foamers throughout processing areas, connecting them to stationary air lines and activating valves for foaming. Scrub, rinse, and sanitize all treated surfaces.
  • Ascend stairs while maneuvering the mobile foamer to sanitize upper-level stacker rooms, connecting the foamer to stationary air lines and activating valves for foaming. Scrub, rinse, and sanitize all treated surfaces.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed clearly, accurately, and legibly, with all necessary information recorded in accordance with SOPs.
  • Follow SOPs for product storage, replenishing product pick locations, and managing the rotation of products, including loading and unloading with a pallet jack.
  • Oversee prerequisite programs and food quality standards related to the assigned area, promptly reporting any food safety or quality concerns to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and assist in the production area as needed.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
Physical Requirements: While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is frequently required to use hands for handling, talking, or hearing, and may need to taste or smell. The employee is consistently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, and stoop. Regularly, the employee must push, pull, lift, and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
