Position Summary:

As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Meticulously cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen and dining utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment, utilizing both dishwashing machines and manual methods as required.
  • Ensuring the proper usage and upkeep of cleaning equipment.
  • Handling and storing cleaning agents responsibly.
  • Keeping the kitchen environment tidy by disposing of waste, managing grease, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces throughout your shift.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

Applicants for the Kitchen Sanitation Specialist role should possess six months to one year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. A solid understanding of food safety practices and a positive, proactive attitude are essential. Being a true team player, ready to engage in all aspects of kitchen operations, will lead to success in this role.

Candidates must be capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, stretching, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 35 lbs. from floor to waist level, as well as the ability to stand for extended periods.
