The Sanitation Operations Specialist
- Nights is tasked with ensuring the highest standards of quality control, sanitation compliance, and accurate documentation of product processes within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Uphold sanitation, health, and safety protocols in all workspaces. The position requires physical activities such as bending, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 75 lbs.
Adhere to quality inspection criteria and remove any food items that do not meet established quality benchmarks. Follow company safety and sanitation guidelines, maintain necessary records, and prepare sanitation carts for cleaning and equipment sanitation. Perform basic housekeeping tasks, including cleaning floors and restocking sanitation supplies for employees.
Clean plant drainage systems in accordance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), which includes managing fluid processing machine drains. Prepare and operate mobile foamers; sanitize work areas in line with SSOPs. Maneuver foamers throughout processing areas, connect to stationary air lines, and initiate foaming processes. Scrub, rinse, and sanitize all treated surfaces.Navigate stairs while pulling mobile foamers to sanitize upper-level stacker rooms, ensuring all foamed areas are thoroughly cleaned.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and legibly, maintaining compliance with SOPs.
Follow SOPs for product storage, replenishing pick locations, selecting full pallets and case-picked items for orders, and managing product rotation, loading, and unloading with a pallet jack.
Take responsibility for prerequisite programs and food quality standards in the assigned area. Report any food safety or quality concerns to management without delay. Carry out additional tasks as assigned and assist in production areas as required.Attendance and Physical Requirements:
Consistent and punctual attendance is essential. While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to use their hands for handling, talking, and listening. They must frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, and stoop. Employees must regularly push, pull, lift, and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
