About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including financial reporting, accounting, HR, payroll, account reconciliation, auditing, cost accounting, and cash flow projections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate processing and recording of company's payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, and participate in daily data entry for Payroll processing.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliation and auditing, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set-up of the financial operation.
  • Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
  • Work on special projects related to the agriculture and winery/wine industry.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, preparing reports and projections based on this analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting, HR, payroll, account reconciliation, auditing, and cost accounting.
  • Experience in the agriculture and winery/wine industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and teamwork skills.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly desirable.
