ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly facilities, is seeking a dedicated Safety Operations Specialist. This full-time position operates during the night shift, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals within the venue.


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Safety Operations Specialist is tasked with overseeing the security of the facility, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and contractors. This role is crucial during event transitions and requires vigilance and prompt action.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor surveillance systems and access control mechanisms.
  • Assess and prioritize incidents, documenting all safety and security occurrences.
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls with appropriate actions.
  • Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders, including staff and visitors.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility to uphold safety standards.
  • Work autonomously, utilizing sound judgment in various situations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or GED is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Uphold the highest standards of security ethics and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate independence and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Exhibit strong customer service capabilities.
  • Possess effective interpersonal skills to engage with diverse groups.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This role involves physical activities such as walking, climbing, and potentially lifting heavy objects. The position requires work in both indoor and outdoor environments and may involve exposure to challenging conditions.
