The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) is on the lookout for a skilled, dynamic, and personable professional to spearhead our outreach initiatives as the Outreach Manager for the Central Region. This role is integral to our mission of promoting the significance of U.S. global leadership and robust development and diplomatic programs beyond the beltway. The Outreach Manager will work closely with a dedicated and high-achieving team focused on outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance the network of influential leaders across strategic states including North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri by identifying and engaging prominent figures from business, civic, military, academic, agriculture, and faith-based sectors to bolster USGLC's initiatives.
- Provide insightful strategic contributions for the Central region in alignment with the overarching USGLC outreach strategy.
- Organize and facilitate large-scale educational events within the designated states to foster engagement.
- Develop comprehensive communication and engagement strategies to effectively amplify the voice of USGLC.
- Coordinate in-district meetings with elected officials to foster relationships between USGLC state leaders and policymakers.
- Arrange educational sessions with Congressional candidates throughout the central United States.
- Mobilize state leaders to engage with policymakers during critical legislative discussions.
- Deliver presentations at local events emphasizing the importance of U.S. global leadership and a robust International Affairs Budget.
- Oversee indirect supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven ability to proactively engage with key leaders across political, business, faith-based, military, academic, and civic sectors.
- Two to four years of experience in political campaigns, community organizing, or issue advocacy.
- Exceptional public speaking abilities with a talent for creating and delivering impactful presentations to high-profile audiences.
- Experience in presidential, senatorial, or congressional campaigns is highly valued, particularly within Central states.
- Demonstrated skills in event planning, writing, organizing, and training.
- Adept at thriving in a fast-paced, adaptable team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, with at least 50% travel required.
- Interest in international relations and a proven track record of organizing high-level advocacy efforts.
