Position Overview:

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer - Land to join our dynamic team. This role provides a unique opportunity to engage in diverse projects that significantly enhance community infrastructure. The selected candidate will work primarily on public sector initiatives focused on parks and recreational development.

Key Responsibilities:
The tasks you may undertake include:

  • Conducting inspections of ongoing construction activities related to various municipal projects.
  • Performing construction administration tasks, including documentation, project status communication, and oversight of contractors and subcontractors.
  • Assisting with CAD operations and project cost estimations.
  • Preparing plans for streets, utilities, and park developments utilizing Civil3D software.
  • Drafting specifications, bidding documents, and regulatory permits.
  • Compiling technical reports and managing project administration, including client meetings.
  • Receiving training and mentorship in project management and client relations.

Qualifications:
What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
  • A strong interest in municipal engineering and parks/recreation consulting.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
