Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Leader is accountable for the efficient installation and operation of production machinery, support systems, and facility infrastructure. This role involves guiding, developing, and overseeing the maintenance team’s daily operations.

The Facilities Maintenance Leader will also play a key role in managing tool inventory, ensuring proper levels, purchasing, and maintaining repair records.

Additionally, this position will support the coordination and enhancement of the facility's Preventative Maintenance Program.


Key Responsibilities:

The main duties of a Facilities Maintenance Leader include:
Ensuring adherence to all safety, health, quality, and company policies and procedures.

Providing daily written tasks to team members based on priorities set by management.

Adjusting team assignments as necessary to address urgent situations within the facility.

Regularly updating the Plant Manager on the progress and challenges faced by the maintenance team.

Overseeing the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Program assigned to the maintenance team.

Assisting in the ongoing improvement of the Preventative Maintenance Program.


Handling major troubleshooting beyond the scope of the operational staff and implementing corrective measures for mechanical and electrical issues across all production lines.

Managing the procurement of parts, standardizing components, and maintaining inventory levels within the maintenance department (with Plant Engineer's approval).


Assisting management in identifying and rectifying safety deficiencies and conducting audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Maintaining accurate records of equipment repairs, purchased components, and company assets assigned to the maintenance team.

Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree or relevant maintenance experience; or a combination of education and experience is required.

A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing setting with proven leadership skills is preferred.

Facilities Maintenance Leaders must effectively interact with managers, staff, vendors, and clients.

Proficient computer skills and typing abilities are necessary.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering excellent customer service.


Capability to work independently and complete tasks according to established guidelines and accepted practices.


Effective Communication:
Clearly conveys information both verbally and in writing.

Team Collaboration:
Actively contributes to team goals and offers assistance to colleagues.

Compensation Information:


The expected salary range for this position is determined by the legal requirements of various jurisdictions.

Final compensation will be based on individual qualifications and experience.
