About the Role

Graham Packaging is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective installation and operation of plant production equipment, production support equipment, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide daily written assignments to assigned personnel, adjust assignments as required, and advise the Plant Manager on progress and problems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Responsible for the daily execution of the Preventative Maintenance Program, assist in updating and improving the program, and implement corrective action plans for mechanical and electrical machine deficiencies.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Responsible for major trouble shooting and implementing corrective action plans for mechanical and electrical machine deficiencies.
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for ordering parts, standardizing components, and maintaining parts inventories within the Maintenance Department.
  • Safety and Compliance: Accountable for assisting management in the elimination of all plant safety deficiencies and performing audits to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain proper records for equipment repair histories, purchased components, and company property assigned to the Maintenance Department.
Requirements
  • A Bachelors Degree and/or related maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and related maintenance experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an operations or maintenance supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership skills is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
