Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Conn-Selmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities.
  • Mechanical Repairs: Repair and maintain machinery, plumbing, and physical structures using blueprints, manuals, and building codes.
  • Compliance: Comply with all Company policies and procedures, as well as safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain an exceptionally clean and orderly work area.
Essential Functions
  • Installation and Repair: Install machinery, water lines, and low-pressure lines, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other plumbing equipment.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect machinery and mechanical equipment for defects, and maintain the integrity of hazardous waste storage areas and emergency response equipment.
  • Documentation: Document all maintenance activities and ensure accurate records are kept.
Requirements
  • Experience: Three years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Electrician's license preferred, and Hazardous Waste Management training required initially and annually.
  • Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for 8 consecutive hours, safely lift 25lbs unassisted, and perform frequent kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing.
  • Environmental Factors: Exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise, and vibration.
Compensation

$22.00 Hourly, Plus Hourly Bonus
