Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at PeopleSuite Talent Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of our production equipment, support systems, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Assign daily tasks to maintenance personnel based on priorities set by the immediate manager.
    • Adjust daily assignments as needed to address plant emergencies.
    • Regularly update the Plant Manager on the progress and challenges faced by the Maintenance staff.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Execute the Plants Preventative Maintenance Program as assigned to the Maintenance Department.
    • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement corrective actions for deficiencies across all production lines.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order parts, standardize components, and maintain parts inventories within the Maintenance Department, with approval from the Plant Engineer.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Assist management in addressing plant safety deficiencies and conducting audits to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs, purchased components, and company property assigned to the Maintenance Department.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in maintenance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within operations or maintenance.
  • Preferably, experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
  • Proficient in computer usage and typing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service.
  • Capable of working independently and completing assignments effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Collaborative mindset, actively contributing to group goals and offering help to others when needed.
