Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to join our Planned Giving team at Boston University. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, coordinate travel and track expenses, and assist with the development and execution of events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about philanthropy and wants to make a meaningful contribution to our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general office support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and arranging travel.
  • Assist with Planned Gift Administration, including processing life income gifts and maintaining GiftWrap database.
  • Conduct preliminary prospect and giving research, including developing and running queries in CRM.
  • Establish and maintain office systems for prospect files and donor giving figures.
  • Assist with the development and execution of events, including direct prospect and donor contact.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • One to three years of related work experience.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Must be able to handle confidential material responsibly.
