Job Overview

Facing History and Ourselves, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to join our New England Development Team. This role will provide critical support to the team in managing operational and administrative tasks, ensuring timely data entry, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, including data entry, report generation, and gift processing.

  • Support the Development Team in preparing for weekly meetings, researching donors and prospects, and distributing weekly financial reports.

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for fundraising events, Advisory Board meetings, and other development-related activities.

  • Assist with special events, including event planning, coordination, and execution.

  • Support the Development Team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including donor communications, event information, and campaign data.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a non-profit or event-related setting.

  • Strong familiarity with database management, preferably Salesforce.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
