Job Overview

The ideal candidate will effectively apply accounting practices within the Certinia PS Cloud and ERP Cloud applications, collaborating with key stakeholders across the business, finance, and business relationship managers to manage application questions, implement changes, and drive application enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Management
    • Support, administer, and maintain Certinia PS Cloud and ERP Cloud applications.
    • Support month-end closure financial processes.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation.
    • Implement and oversee application changes and enhancements.
    • Apply and support accounting practices within the Certinia applications, including opportunity and project management, revenue recognition engine, time management, backlog management, invoicing, and currency matters, and work-in-progress reporting and project economics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between the business, finance, and business relationship managers to understand and address application-related needs.
    • Provide technical solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Drive the development and enhancements of the application relating to finance and accounting matters.
    • Conduct user training sessions on application functionalities and best practices.
    • Technical Support and Documentation
    • Offer technical support to internal teams regarding Certinia applications.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application processes and configurations.
    • Ensure data integrity and security within the applications.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Qualification or degree in Computer Science, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Salesforce Admin.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience with Certinia Accounting.
  • Solid background in accounting practices, especially in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.
  • Experience with WIP and backlog reporting.
  • Demonstrated capability to work with business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Agile delivery experience using methodologies like Scrum or SAFe, and tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

Salary Range

The applicable base salary range for this role is $87,000 to $130,000, with the base pay determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
