Job Title: Bilingual Autism Specialist

Pathlight Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Autism Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to families with children with autism, helping them navigate the complexities of the Children's Autism Waiver Program and Department of Developmental Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to families, including making family visits, developing support plans, and connecting families with resources and services.
  • Work with funding sources to plan and coordinate the delivery of support services to families.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate data entry, developing and tracking family contracts and budgets.
  • Stay current with developments in the field through reading trade journals and books, attending workshops and webinars.
  • Coordinate hiring, training, and scheduling of therapists, skills trainers, and respite workers.

Requirements:

  • Broad knowledge of a discipline involving the use of a broad theoretical knowledge equal to a complete 4-year college education.
  • Knowledge of autism and treatments.
  • 1-3 years working with children/adults with autism and their families.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation/vehicle.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish spoken and written formats, as well as cultural knowledge and experience.

Work Environment:

Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, with flexibility to meet programmatic needs, including occasional mornings, nights, and weekends. Regional role encompassing all of Western Mass.

Salary and Benefits:

$41,540.40 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package.
