About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our members, and maintaining a safe and secure environment within the club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to member inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating concerns to management as needed.
  • Merchandise Protection: Maintain a thorough understanding of merchandise protection procedures, including shrink alert protocols, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular audits of Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales floor goals, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and provide support as needed.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with members, team members, and management to ensure seamless execution of sales floor operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately complete tasks and maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Basic Math Skills: Possess basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and a strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demands: Spend most of the workday standing and moving about on hard surfaces, with occasional bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders/step stools.
  • Environmental Factors: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures.

Compensation:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $14.25. Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, education, experience, and qualifications.
