Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead our lead generation efforts, drive marketing, and build out our Business Development team. As the first manager of this team, you will play a critical role in driving the overall volume of lead generation for the company.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a lead generation strategy to drive business growth
- Manage and mentor a team of Business Development Associates (BDAs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
- Travel to conferences and client sites to build relationships and understand scientists' workflows
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ideate and execute marketing strategies to accelerate lead generation
- Source clients, build profiles of the market, and work with the account executive team to qualify and hand over leads
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales for a highly technical product
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals and quotas
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel 20-30% of the time
- Highly competitive salary and equity as an early employee

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 base salary, $160,000 - $200,000 OTE
