Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead our lead generation efforts, drive marketing, and build out our Business Development team. As the first manager of this team, you will play a critical role in driving the overall volume of lead generation for the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a lead generation strategy to drive business growth
  • Manage and mentor a team of Business Development Associates (BDAs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
  • Travel to conferences and client sites to build relationships and understand scientists' workflows
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ideate and execute marketing strategies to accelerate lead generation
  • Source clients, build profiles of the market, and work with the account executive team to qualify and hand over leads
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales for a highly technical product
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals and quotas
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel 20-30% of the time
