Job Description:
PCI is on the lookout for a seasoned Hydro Excavation Sales Specialist for its operations in Houston, Texas. This role entails generating business leads, ensuring timely project estimations, and successfully closing profitable agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client accounts and drive sales growth for our hydro-excavation services.
Client Relationship Management:
Act as the primary liaison for clients, cultivating and sustaining robust, long-term relationships.
Conduct regular meetings and communications with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and explore opportunities for additional services.
Formulate and execute strategies to generate new business and enhance our market presence in hydro excavation services.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities across all market sectors.
Prepare and present proposals, bids, and quotes for hydro vac projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and PCI capabilities.
Project Coordination and Management:
Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, technicians, and operations staff, to oversee hydro vac projects from initiation to completion.
Ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and PCI standards.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, addressing any issues or deviations as they arise.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project-related documentation.
Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing sales strategies and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in planning and estimating hydro excavation projects.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Requirements:
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Proven ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities, meet sales targets, and drive revenue growth.
Strong project management skills, capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with clients and attend industry events.
