Sales Representative

Are you a motivated and results-driven sales professional looking for a challenging opportunity to grow your career? We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team at Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, to increase our market share and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct weekly sales calls to service existing customers and expand the account base through cold calling.
- Prepare weekly sales and call reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop a monthly sales strategy and prepare a travel calendar to ensure effective use of time and resources.
- Conduct area market analysis to identify top accounts and develop a sales strategy to grow market share.
- Research area market product data to determine the types, styles, and sizes most purchased in the area.
- Grow market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company-approved product margin goals.
- Complete "Positive Action Forms" for all cold calls resulting in a display, rack, and/or sale.
- Utilize influence and negotiation skills to sell and/or place displays in customer's showrooms.
- Conduct client follow-ups via phone calls, letters, and/or emails.
- Establish and maintain client files and perform timely follow-up on programs and projects.
- Provide PK seminars to customers.
- Utilize "On Demand" reporting to achieve sales objectives.
- High school diploma and some college education preferred.
- 4 years prior selling experience required.
- Computer skills, including functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/email.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Proven interpersonal skills, including influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.
