Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Shared Living Operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing the approval process of prospective Shared Living providers, maintaining ongoing approval, and assisting in the placement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the approval process for prospective Shared Living providers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the SHFS Intake & Referral Director and SL team to facilitate the placement process.
  • Provide case management to a caseload of Shared Living providers, as assigned by the Area Director or AVP.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify and qualify new Shared Living providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to assigned tasks, including case manager records, provider training records, and completed applications.
  • Work in partnership with the Assistant Vice President, Area Director, and SHF Development office to support marketing and recruitment efforts.
  • Participate in addressing area emergency services for individuals in crisis and during transition to new home environments.
  • Collaborate with the SHFS Area Director to coordinate training for potential Shared Living providers.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to Shared Living providers, in partnership with the Provider Trainer, Area Directors, and AVP.
  • Support Shared Living providers through internal and external compliance reviews (CARF/QUEST).
  • Attend regularly scheduled area team and Shared Living team meetings to provide updates and support.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a related field preferred.
  • Bachelors degree with three years of experience working within the Shared Living service delivery system or a related field, required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
