Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Branch Director to lead our operations in a specific region. As a Branch Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our branch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Organize and direct the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Oversee the implementation and oversight of all patient care programs, achieving both clinical and administrative outcomes.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs, while managing labor costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement regulations.
- Identify and report potential payment/coverage problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing financial risk.
- Leadership and Professional Development
- Direct and develop a team of healthcare professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Implement the organization's strategic and growth-related plans, driving business expansion and market share growth.
- Conduct staff performance appraisals, ensuring accurate and timely evaluations, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in healthcare or a related field is required.
- 1+ year of experience in supervisory or administrative home health or related program required.
- 2+ years of home health experience preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills, including knowledge of home health care delivery models and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced functional business and management skills, including time management, human and financial resources, and budgeting.
- Proficiency with computer and technology programs, including MS Office Suite, Homecare Homebase, and Workday.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to develop trusted relationships and networks across multiple levels.
