Position Overview


This role is designed to deliver technical leadership in the organization, execution, and coordination of intricate Process Technology project assignments, potentially overseeing a team of engineers and specialists.


  • May guide a team of engineers and specialists in creating drawings and specifications for studies, feasibility assessments, Front End Engineering Development (FEED), and Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC) project phases.
  • Formulate Process Technology Quality Plans for projects of small to moderate scale.
  • Develop and manage Process Activity Plans for projects of moderate to intermediate complexity.
  • Implement Fluor's scope of work in accordance with contractual obligations.

Client Interaction:
Collaborate with client representatives, including project, planning, process, and instrument engineers, as well as operations and maintenance teams to ensure alignment with contract requirements and expectations.

  • Work closely with Fluor discipline engineers to produce interdisciplinary drawings and specifications.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

  • An accredited four (4) year degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study, accompanied by fourteen (14) years of related work experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience totaling eighteen (18) years for non-degreed candidates; some locations may have specific qualifications to meet local regulations.
  • Proficient communication skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences, including management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Technical knowledge pertinent to the role to ensure successful job performance.
  • Capacity to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national regulations and guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively within time constraints.
