As a Lead Process Engineer at Prism Engineering, you will play a crucial role in LNG process engineering, focusing on the design of regasification and liquefaction projects.

Your responsibilities will include assisting project management personnel by ensuring consistent reporting, scheduling, staffing planning, and coordination.

This role requires the capability to verify engineering calculations and drawings, delegate tasks, and oversee junior team members.

Effective communication and collaboration across engineering disciplines are essential for maintaining quality and consistency in design documents and data throughout projects.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of LNG process engineering for the design of regasification and liquefaction projects.
  • Assist project management by providing regular updates, scheduling, staffing planning, and coordination.
  • Verify engineering calculations and drawings, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise junior personnel, promoting a collaborative and effective team environment.
  • Facilitate regular communication between the process team and other engineering disciplines, ensuring consistent technical content throughout projects.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering.
  • Prior experience supporting LNG projects.
  • Strong awareness of safety considerations in hazardous environments.
  • Highly motivated, quick-thinking, and adept at problem-solving; possesses impeccable integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
  • Player-coach mentality, capable of transitioning between strategic leadership, tactical management, and hands-on team involvement.
  • Organized with strong planning abilities, capable of managing multiple activities and programs accurately and within deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to offshore sites when necessary; primary work based in the Houston office.
