Automation Quality Assurance Specialist (Selenium)

Accountable for ensuring the quality and reliability of IT solutions.

Key responsibilities encompass testing, modifying, adapting, and potentially implementing both immediate and long-term solutions to enhance information technology (IT) systems, including applications and infrastructure; evaluating system requirements and business workflows; as well as coding, testing, and debugging software solutions.


Experience Required:

Minimum Years of Experience: 6 or more years in relevant QA Automation technology roles.
Expertise in analyzing and resolving complex issues is essential. Proven experience in developing automated testing frameworks and scripts is required.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is necessary. Experience with integration, stress, performance, scalability, and/or load testing is also required.
Strong knowledge of test case management and execution using test management tools is essential.

Responsibilities:

Evaluates, designs, tests, and delivers technology solutions for various business sectors while implementing comprehensive software quality assurance strategies.

Creates, reviews, and executes test plans, scripts, and data to ensure that application products and services fulfill business requirements, quality benchmarks, and end-user/non-functional specifications.

Documents, monitors, and resolves software defects or issues in collaboration with the product delivery team.

Develops and communicates software quality metrics that reflect the reliability, compliance/accessibility, performance, and security of the software products and services developed.

Collaborates closely with delivery partners to align software quality assurance services with product delivery timelines and methodologies.
Transforms existing manual test cases or scripts into automated tests. Aids in the setup and maintenance of testing environments.
Identifies technical and operational challenges in deployed systems, products, and/or services. Develops configurable, maintainable, reusable, and reliable test automation tools.
Prepares for and participates in testing activities for production releases and remediation efforts. Establishes criteria for test case automation.
Conducts feasibility assessments to identify candidates for automation. Writes reusable test components, both application-independent and application-dependent.
Researches, assesses, and selects testing tools. Monitors environments, establishing thresholds and alerts.
Ensures the availability of appropriate testing environments. Prepares and submits estimates for test automation engagements and project timelines.
Assists with team training needs, sharing insights on current and emerging testing technologies. Performs additional duties as assigned.
