You Will:

  • Spearhead the establishment of a test automation framework and drive QA automation initiatives utilizing Java/Selenium/Cucumber.
  • Construct an automation framework from the ground up for a web-based application hosted on a cloud platform.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute both automated and manual test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
  • Formulate quality assurance standards and monitor quality assurance activities.
  • Engage in discussions regarding test strategy, estimation, and planning.
  • Prepare test documentation, including Test Plans, Business Test Scenarios, and Requirements Traceability Matrices.
  • Generate reusable test data for automation scripts.
  • Create and troubleshoot SQL scripts for test validation purposes.
  • Document test outcomes and assist with defect management processes.
  • Contribute to technical documentation (such as Use Cases and User Interface Specifications) and participate in technical discussions.
  • Support testing of application and environmental upgrades, as well as the resolution of production issues, including participation in on-call rotations to facilitate resolutions.
  • Operate with minimal oversight; serve as a mentor and coach, providing constructive feedback to less experienced team members; engage stakeholders to gather feedback and input for completing work activities.
  • Guide team members in becoming familiar with the automation framework and script development.
  • Exhibit the ability to lead and effectively participate in team efforts; manage complex and diverse team initiatives through technical expertise and leadership skills; leverage experience to resolve complex issues; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in interactions at all organizational levels.
  • Integrate tests aligned with the application under test database schemas using intricate stored procedures and queries in environments such as SQL Server, Oracle, or similar.

  • Prepare and present information and responses to complex inquiries; demonstrate effective communication management.
  • Conduct 508 compliance testing.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience with Automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, UFT, ALM (Selenium and Cucumber experience is required)
  • 5-7 years of robust experience in automation script development, execution, and automated defect reporting.
  • 5+ years of experience with RDBMS and complex SQL statements.
  • Experience in developing and implementing automation frameworks in a Cloud environment.
  • Proficiency in creating automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM).
  • Strong expertise in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience in API testing and data profiling, encompassing end-to-end processes starting from data ingestion and all related data tasks.
  • Ability to create analytical data views by gathering data from various sources based on logical use cases and business rules.
  • Experience in validating data and calculations at various stages, including attribute validation and transformation using data tools technology.
  • Data profiling and test data creation that aligns with accounting use cases and rules.
  • Dissecting transformation rules and validating data migration/onboarding between legacy and new systems.
  • Developing test automation and enabling DevOps through continuous testing practices.
  • Familiarity with AWS-based data sources such as Aurora Postgres, Redshift, Athena, AWS Glue, and DMS Services to deliver robust quality solutions.
  • An Agile mindset with experience in Agile environments.
  • Solid understanding of continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of independently presenting findings and assessments.

Quals
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with a well-rounded skill set in automation. In this role, you will develop QA automation frameworks, create, execute, and debug automation scripts. You will log, report, and collaborate with the development team to resolve defects in a cloud environment. Communicate the testing status of open stories with the broader project team and external stakeholders. Conduct daily health checks of the application using automated tools and identify and create test data.
