Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our store operations and drive sales growth. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing store inventory, and leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations
    • Assist the Store Manager in planning and executing store workload, including scheduling and inventory management.
    • Lead and manage adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Support and participate in the truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales and profit goals.
    • Train, observe, and coach team members to improve performance and achieve results.
    • Participate in the performance management process and support talent development.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
    • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage and execute inventory management processes, including receiving, stocking, and replenishment.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize shrinkage and optimize sales.
  • Visual Merchandising
    • Manage and execute visual merchandising standards, including feature space and seasonal layouts.
    • Ensure a visually appealing store environment that drives sales and customer engagement.
  • Shrink and Safety
    • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs to minimize losses and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other members of the store leadership team.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong inventory management and control skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Work Environment

The Operations Manager will work in a public retail store setting, with a climate-controlled environment. The role may require working nights, weekends, and early mornings, as well as occasional outdoor work to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks.
