Position Overview: This role is primarily focused on providing clerical support in a remote environment.

Training Schedule: Initial training will be conducted remotely during standard business hours for a period of two weeks.

Regular Work Hours: The standard work schedule includes Monday, Thursday, Friday, and alternating Saturdays. Please be aware that specific hours may vary based on operational needs.

Typical Work Hours:
  • Monday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday-Thursday: 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM / 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM / 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Note: Holidays may affect the regular schedule, resulting in adjustments to workdays.

Job Purpose: The Clerical Support Specialist I is responsible for executing well-defined procedures in a series of repetitive clerical tasks, which may include coding and organizing documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare documents for digitization, which includes:
    • Assessing documents for required information.
    • Assigning Document IDs and Received Dates as necessary.
    • Repairing minor damages such as tears using tape, and removing staples or paperclips.
    • Utilizing sorting sheets as instructed.
    • Making copies as required.
  • Refer to work instructions as needed.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions, work scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and undertake additional duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
