Position Summary
The Senior Facilities Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate the U.S. Logistics Network Facilities Team, ensuring exceptional facilities service and performance. This role encompasses comprehensive physical plant maintenance, compliance, capital project management, space planning, and project control functions, including the planning, design, and execution of construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement building maintenance and operational strategies.
- Manage vendor contracts in alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Ensure the optimal performance of all building systems.
- Collaborate with global EHS to support site safety initiatives.
- Prepare departmental operating reports and budgets.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all processes and programs.
- Oversee facilities planning and space allocation.
- Prepare cost estimates for relocations and infrastructure equipment.
- Coordinate with department heads and contractors.
- Manage grounds maintenance.
- Design and facilitate effective utilization of space and facilities; develop the Site Master Plan.
- Prepare and deliver the Capital Plan, ensuring accurate capital reporting.
- Inspect utility systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate building security and maintenance services under corporate direction.
- Supervise all facilities personnel.
- Oversee all building operations.
- Manage maintenance schedules and issues.
- Prepare and submit reports to governmental and regulatory bodies, including environmental permits.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, business management, or a related field is preferred. Certification in facilities management is advantageous.
Professional Qualifications
Membership in relevant professional organizations, a professional license, and PMI certification are preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within compliant facility management, is required.

Physical Position Requirements
The incumbent must be a mature, adaptable individual capable of functioning effectively in high-pressure situations and adjusting priorities as necessary. This position requires on-site presence and may involve occasional travel.
