ABOUT THE COMPANY: Intrinsic Development is a leading real estate development firm focused on upscale multi-family and mixed-use commercial projects. With a robust portfolio encompassing over 3.5 million square feet of completed developments and an additional 300,000 square feet currently underway, we have established a strong reputation for excellence. Operating across six Midwestern states, our projects range from luxury accommodations and mixed-use facilities to healthcare centers, office spaces, and dining establishments. As we broaden our horizons with a new corporate office, we are excited to initiate a significant mixed-use development that will feature 2,900 upscale multi-family units along with over 660,000 square feet dedicated to retail, office, entertainment, and hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER:

  • Oversee and manage construction projects for multi-family residential and commercial developments from initial planning through to final completion.
  • Ensure that all projects are executed within established timelines and budgetary limits.
  • Monitor adherence to safety standards and regulations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Department to facilitate subcontractor selection and the bidding process.
  • Provide leadership and daily oversight to field Superintendents and project team members.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER ROLE:

  • DESIRABLE: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • MANDATORY: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction or Project Management.
  • MANDATORY: At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on residential and commercial projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in construction-related software and technology, including MS Office and MS Project.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to perform physical tasks as required.
