The BRP team is responsible for designing and implementing high-performance software systems that leverage machine learning to detect and mitigate abusive transactions. Our mission is clear: every dollar we save from fraud is a dollar that can be reinvested into enhancing our offerings for customers and supporting our third-party sellers. Given Amazon's vast scale, this role presents a unique opportunity to significantly impact our financial outcomes.

We are in search of a forward-thinking, results-driven, and customer-focused Senior Product Manager - Technical to spearhead the development of groundbreaking products in the Buyer Abuse domain. In this capacity, you will evaluate customer needs and financial implications while collaborating closely with both business and technical stakeholders to roll out new programs and features on a global scale.

A successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of our objectives in collaboration with business, software, science, and operational teams. You should possess strong analytical skills, be resourceful, and have a customer-centric mindset. The ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines is essential. A proven history of managing end-to-end projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment is crucial. You should also have a passion for deconstructing complex challenges, understanding customer requirements, and delivering comprehensive solutions through ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead product and program planning initiatives to enhance seller satisfaction.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to operate independently across diverse environments.
  3. Oversee cross-functional project teams, organizing and executing complex projects across various organizations and stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with product, design, business, and engineering teams on roadmap prioritization.
  5. Establish cross-team communication mechanisms for program priorities and gather input from senior leadership.
  6. Clearly articulate program objectives, desired outcomes, risks/issues, and mitigation strategies.
  7. Support and improve existing products with thoughtful and measurable impacts.

The Abuse Prevention Program is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience, protecting the integrity and reputation of Amazon and its Selling Partner businesses while ensuring profitability.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in feature delivery and product trade-offs
- Demonstrated ability to drive roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery
- Involvement in engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and product strategy
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Proven ability to represent and advocate for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Proven track record in developing and promoting new tools
