The Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP) team operates as a centralized technology unit, effectively managing billions of transactions worldwide to detect and counteract threats to our systems. The BRP team is responsible for designing and constructing high-performance software systems that leverage machine learning to recognize and mitigate abusive transactions. Our mission in abuse prevention is crucial, as every dollar we save translates directly into profit for Amazon and its third-party sellers, allowing for reinvestment into new features for our customers. Given Amazon's vast scale, this role presents a unique opportunity to significantly impact our bottom line.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and customer-focused Senior Product Manager - Technical to spearhead the development of groundbreaking products in the Buyer Abuse domain. In this capacity, you will assess customer and financial impacts while collaborating closely with both business and technical partners to roll out new programs and features on a global scale.

A successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of our objectives in collaboration with business, software, science, and operational teams. You should be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-oriented, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines. A proven history of end-to-end ownership and successful delivery of results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential. A passion for deconstructing complex challenges, understanding customer needs, and delivering comprehensive solutions through continuous improvement is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead product and program planning to enhance seller satisfaction.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously across diverse environments.
  3. Oversee cross-functional project teams, planning, organizing, and executing intricate projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with product, design, business, and engineering teams on roadmap prioritization.
  5. Establish cross-team mechanisms for communicating program priorities and gathering input from senior leadership.
  6. Clearly articulate program goals, desired outcomes, risks/issues, and mitigation strategies.
  7. Support and enhance existing products with thoughtful and measurable impacts.
About the Team
The mission of the Abuse Prevention Program is to deliver the highest standard of customer experience, safeguard the brand and reputation of Amazon and its Selling Partner businesses, all while maintaining profitability.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience with feature delivery and product trade-offs
- Demonstrated ability to own and drive roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery
- Involvement in engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Proven track record of representing and advocating for a diverse range of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience utilizing analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight
- Proven ability to build and drive the adoption of new tools
