Position Overview

We are seeking a Vice President of Finance to oversee the financial and accounting operations for Quality Glass and Mirror Services, a leading entity in the glass fabrication and installation sector. As an integral part of our executive team and a strategic partner to the CEO, you will have the chance to make a significant impact both immediately and in the long term. This position offers a pathway for a finance and accounting leader who is innovative, inquisitive, analytically adept, and experienced in scaling finance and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the accounting, treasury, tax, and finance departments.
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and financial forecasts in collaboration with the executive leadership.
  • Establish and uphold systems and internal controls that ensure the integrity of all processes, systems, and data within your purview.
  • Prepare and disseminate timely monthly financial statements and management reporting packages, including presentations for the board of directors, financial and operational metrics, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Manage all interactions with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies regarding audits, inquiries, and tax compliance.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of new accounting policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively while fostering the development of your team, including recruitment and training to promote continuous growth and improvement.
  • Identify and implement initiatives for continuous improvement to automate and expedite the financial reporting process across various entities.
  • Support special projects and assist in defining system enhancements to facilitate our growth and improve operational outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science.
  • 7 to 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in roles such as Accounting Manager or Controller (a mix of public and private experience is preferred).
  • Proven experience in successfully cultivating, completing, and integrating acquisitions.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated success in budget management, enhancing internal financial processes, identifying improvement opportunities through data analysis, and optimizing cash flow.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills that enable strategic data interpretation rather than mere reporting.
  • Experience with various financial systems and related software, including QuickBooks Online, ERP systems, and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Proven ability to thrive and generate value in high-growth, entrepreneurial settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the glass fabrication or light manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Dashboards (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Experience with financial consolidation software (e.g., Prophix, OneStream, etc.).
  • Previous involvement in M&A integrations, including financial modeling and treasury integration.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (MBA, Master's in Finance, etc.).
