Overview

CommonSpirit Health, formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, is a leading healthcare provider with over 700 care sites across the U.S. As a Vice President of Finance for the Central Region, you will play a critical role in achieving internal and external reporting needs of each facility, market, and senior team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial statements, coordination of month-end reports, and bridge plans for the region.
  • Work with and/or lead market and region financial teams to support region analytics and research.
  • Coordinate with the Region CFO to ensure compliance on audits, due diligence, and coordination with national team directives and needs.
  • Responsible for overall functions of budgeting and long-range financial planning, including assisting the Region CFO with setting financial targets and ensuring those targets are met.
  • Assist the Region and Market CFOs in enforcing labor productivity management goals.
  • Step in during the absence of the Region CFO.
  • Assist the Region CFO in evaluating strategic initiatives and capital projects within the markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of hospital-related healthcare finance experience and 5 years of management and leadership experience.
