The Hotel Rooms Controller is a key position in our Front Office team, responsible for overseeing room blocking to meet guest requests and departmental requirements. This role involves handling opportunity guests, managing phone inquiries, and providing exceptional front desk support during peak business periods.
Key Responsibilities- Assign rooms according to guest request and preferences, ensuring timely room allocations to meet individual and guest needs.
- Ensure guest and special requests are met within the standard response time, invoking service recovery when necessary.
- Maximize use of Family Style Service while meeting Caesars and Nobu experience standards.
- Coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups, confirm reservations and cancellations, and keep the front office team informed on any oversells or challenges.
- Answer all calls directed to the Front Office promptly, coordinate special requests, and execute follow-up calls with guests to check for satisfaction.
- Minimum one-year guest service experience, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to all guests.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English, with excellent oral and written skills.
- High School graduate or equivalent, with the ability to type at least 25 wpm and pass a simple mathematics test.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, with a professional, clean, and crisp appearance.
The Hotel Rooms Controller will work inside and continuously stand and/or maneuver around the front desk area and guest rooms for periods of up to eight hours at a time. The role requires responding calmly in busy situations, tolerating high noise levels, and lifting and frequently pushing or pulling up to 60 pounds.
