Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Experience Specialist at Diggerland USA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all current specials and promotions, ensuring guests are aware of the latest offers and deals.
  • Assist guests with redeeming online tickets, purchasing tickets, and making purchases in the Admissions, Retail, Arcade, and Gold Digger areas.
  • Upsell targeted products to guests, increasing guest spending and engagement.
  • Assist with merchandising functions, including display, inventory receiving, stocking, and daily record keeping.
  • Conduct cash handling functions, including Point of Sale cash registers.
  • Ensure all areas of responsibility are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills, delivered with energy and a smile.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills, prioritizing and performing a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
  • Basic math skills as they apply to cash handling.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling, based on business demands and weather.
  • Responsibility and ability to follow instructions.
  • Team player with the ability to work well with other staff members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service or guest-focused experience.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Full availability on weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Demands
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a loud environment with flashing lights.
  • Must be able to tolerate working in hot or cold weather.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
