  • Schedule and Present Services: Leverage company expertise and industry knowledge to present Paylocity services to prospective clients and close new business agreements.
  • Develop Relationships: Build and maintain relationships within the Broker channel and other referral sources to expand business opportunities.
  • Meet Quotas: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory.
  • Communicate Effectively: Possess strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • New Business Opportunities: Generate net-new business opportunities through telemarketing, referrals, professional contacts, and other sources.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present proposals to clients, providing follow-up throughout the sales process.
  • Client Onboarding: Work directly with internal departments to ensure smooth transitions for clients.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity services.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain contact with existing customers to determine needs for additional services.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma: Equivalent required.
  • 3-5 Years Sales Experience: Proven track record in a competitive sales environment.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to handle objections and unexpected situations.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong Presentation Skills: Effective communication skills to present to clients and internal teams.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Proficient in MS Office applications and the Internet.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $105,000 per year, based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for our variable commission plan, annual bonus, and restricted stock until grant, aligning with individual performance. A full range of benefits is also included, supporting the well-being and growth of our employees.
