Position: Service Engineering Specialist

Compensation: $30 - $32 per hour

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% post-training (Regional and Air Travel Necessary)

- Per Diem policies will be based on location and discussed with the hiring manager.

- The Service Team has specific guidelines for on-the-clock work, which will be clarified during the interview.

Key Highlights:

- Seeking an individual capable of diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical challenges (Training will be provided on specific equipment).

- Responsible for the setup, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of machinery at both company facilities and client locations.

- Must possess the ability to travel as required.

- Strong communication skills are essential, as interaction with clients will be frequent.

- Maintain accurate customer and equipment records within the CRM system.

- Ensure timely completion and submission of all necessary documentation to customers, sales teams, and service supervisors, attaching relevant information into the CRM system for both in-house and client-related tasks.

Your Duties Include:

  • Setting up, installing, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on machinery at company and client sites.
  • Providing all required documentation to customers, sales personnel, and service supervisors, ensuring timely entry into the CRM system.
  • Traveling to client locations as necessary.
  • Maintaining customer and equipment history in the CRM database.
  • Delivering accurate and prompt phone support.
  • Documenting interactions with customers and sales in a clear and concise manner within the CRM system.
  • Keeping workspaces organized and tidy, both in-house and at client sites.
  • Coordinating with other departments or personnel when their equipment is required.

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree preferred or two years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent travel is expected, with all travel points (airline and hotel) retained by the employee for personal use.
