Position Overview

Culinary Service Specialist at Providence Milwaukie Hospital (On-Call, Day Schedule).

As a vital member of our Food Service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to patients, family members, volunteers, physicians, and staff. Adherence to our Service Excellence Standards of Behavior is essential at all times.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in retail dining or patient dining with a focus on customer service and food safety.
  • One year of experience with computers, patient interaction, and food service.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment or large-scale food service operation.
  • One year of experience in a Dietary kitchen utilizing 'therapeutic diets'.
  • One year of experience in cashiering.
  • One year of experience as a Barista.
