We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team at St. David's Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role

As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing patient assessments and developing individualized plans of care
  • Implementing and evaluating care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe and accurate care
  • Assisting with anesthesia induction and preparing patients for local anesthesia
  • Accurately documenting and reporting patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a hospital setting
  • 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (preferred)
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (per SDH policy)
