We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
- Perform scrub functions, including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies, to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history to inform care decisions.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for use, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
