As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities:- Perform patient assessments, develop plans of care, and implement and evaluate care in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Assist with anesthesia induction and prepare patients for local anesthesia.
- Accurately document and report patient care.
- Demonstrate competency in all surgical specialties and equipment.
- Participate in staff and self-development.
- 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
- 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse - preferred.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - per SDH policy.
