Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assist with anesthesia induction and prepare patients for local anesthesia.
- Accurately document and report patient care, demonstrating competency in all surgical specialties and equipment.
- Participate in staff and self-development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies.
- 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
- 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse preferred.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification per SDH policy.
