NRSS stands as a leading provider of qualified field safety personnel and comprehensive safety training across the continental United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our proven track record in safety management ensures that we can effectively handle diverse projects in the railroad industry.
Position Summary:
NRSS is looking for a Railway Safety Supervisor (RWIC) to oversee railroad flagging operations for major railroads, regional lines, transit systems, and various contractors and consultants in the industry.
Educational Requirements:
A High School Diploma or Equivalent is mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with Class 1 Railroads, regional lines, transit systems, or related fields, ideally within the Maintenance Of Way (MOW) Department.

Job Responsibilities:

- Identify and address rule violations appropriately.
- Ensure contractor training requirements are met.
- Prepare daily reports detailing activities and compliance.
- Implement On-Track Safety measures as per federal regulations.
Work Environment:
This role is primarily field-based.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must be able to communicate effectively in English, travel as needed, and endure various physical demands including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in diverse environmental conditions.
