Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming orders via phone, web portal, and fax in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers and referral sources.
  • Collect and input comprehensive customer information, including insurance and medical details.
  • Document infectious disease information as per policy.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in the computer system.
  • Complete necessary intake forms and patient setups, including insurance verifications and medical records.
  • Gather all required medical documentation, such as prescriptions and authorizations.
  • Provide accurate coding information to healthcare providers and obtain medical necessity documentation.
  • Assist with equipment requests and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Confirm and bill orders as required, ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Maintain an organized library of insurance guidelines and product information.
  • Conduct customer surveys and document feedback.
  • Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
