Job Title: Assisted Living Director

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Assisted Living team as our new Assisted Living Director. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

About the Role:

The Assisted Living Director will be responsible for overseeing the provision of resident care services, conducting resident assessments, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure provision of resident care services
  • Conduct and coordinate the completion of resident assessments
  • Ensure that all essential resident care data is properly entered and updated in our resident care database
  • Oversee Assisted Living med techs to ensure appropriate services have been provided and all appropriate documentation has been completed
  • Intervene when a resident is experiencing a change of condition and notify all appropriate parties
Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid RN license
  • Prefer one year of experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience
  • Prefer one year of supervisory experience in a health-care related field
  • Ability to understand and conceptualize concepts as well as an ability to make decisions in stressful situations
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation with an emphasis on establishing and understanding processes with a strong attention to details
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with seniors, their family members and staff in a caring, compassionate manner
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
