Job Summary

The Receptionist at Twin Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our community. As a liaison between residents, families, staff, and vendors, you will be responsible for conveying a positive image of our facility and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director, including making copies, typing documents, and sending emails.
  • Assist with scheduling transportation, signing in and out, and purchasing guest meals and stamps/copies for residents.
  • Collaborate with the Activity Director to produce the monthly community newsletter.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including written correspondence with prospects and fliers for special events.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures, and recommend changes as necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from a physician, nurse practitioner, or other health professional to verify no communicable diseases, open skin lesions, or any other health problems that would interfere with job performance.
  • No previous felony conviction, or conviction for fraud of the federal government.
  • Criminal background check (BCI).
  • TB test.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Ability to work effectively with different types of people, and to calmly handle stressful situations.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work under time pressures, and may involve standing for long periods of time (up to 2-4 hours per day). Lifting, on an occasional basis (up to twenty-five pounds), may also be required. The position also requires hearing to normal range and corrected vision.
