Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote high customer satisfaction, staff morale, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and wellness team to review prospective resident needs and ensure the facility can meet those needs.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and the surrounding community.
  • Participate in weekly customer service planning meetings to stay informed about resident status and ensure the team is meeting resident needs.
  • Respond promptly to resident and family complaints or concerns and work to resolve issues to mutual satisfaction.
  • Promote company programs designed to enhance residents' well-being and independence.
  • Ensure adequate staffing consistent with resident needs, budgetary guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and supervise the management team by example, encouraging teamwork and promoting a customer service philosophy.
  • Motivate staff to perform consistent, quality work and maintain high staff satisfaction through regular communication, individual coaching, and recognition of achievements.
Requirements
  • Previous management experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Experience with budget preparation and management, supervision of at least five people, and successful interaction with customers and the general public.
  • Meet the education requirements set forth by the state's assisted living regulatory agencies.
  • Meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain certification as an Assisted Living Executive Director as required by state regulations.
  • Meet all requirements for health, criminal background check, and drug testing.
