Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess material needs based on production schedules and client requirements, managing all purchased components for each project through the ERP system utilizing SAP.
  • Oversee inventory management to guarantee material availability for production processes.
  • Determine packaging specifications and requirements.
  • Engage with suppliers to facilitate special transportation, manage inventory levels, and clarify any outstanding balances.
  • Monitor and report on supplier deliveries and backorders, ensuring accurate data entry into the ERP system.
  • Coordinate workflows among the goods receipt department, production, and shipping teams.
  • Organize material pickups from suppliers or storage facilities.
  • Maintain inventory levels in alignment with profit objectives.
  • Assist in material planning for new product launches and expansions.
  • Participate in annual inventory audits.
  • Facilitate meeting arrangements.
  • Lead all initiatives related to the planning, budgeting, design, procurement, and management of both reusable and disposable packaging.
  • Conduct design review sessions.
  • Support teams for new product launches and associated meetings.
  • Evaluate engineering drawings and packaging specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Preferred background in Packaging, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive packaging.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered for certain roles.
