Job Summary

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Manager to lead our Primary Care team in the Pacific Northwest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading interdisciplinary patient care services within our Primary Care setting.

This is a full-time position, 60% administration/management and 40% clinical (direct patient care). The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the assigned practice group, including supervising physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

We are looking for a candidate with strong clinical and administrative skills, who is motivated to promote continuing education for staff, inter-professional training, and committed to professional enrichment, merit promotion, equal employment opportunity, and positive labor relations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead interdisciplinary patient care services within the Primary Care setting
  • Supervise physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
  • Strong clinical and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
