Job Summary:

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, and construction of ambulatory clinic facilities. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and identify potential issues to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage and process daily project expenditures, including purchase orders, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Develop and implement quality control provisions and value engineering strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate, coherent, and timely project records and files.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management, engineering, or business administration.
  • Four years of project planning or related experience, or a Master's degree with two years of previous project planning or related experience.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

The physical and environmental demands of this role may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. The role may require occasional to frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work. The role may also involve exposure to bio-hazardous waste, chemicals, gases, fumes, and vapors, as well as other environmental factors.
